Landry's Restaurants is buying the Trump Marina Hotel Casino for $38 million. Landry's owns and operates the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas. They plan to convert the Trump Marina into the Golden Nugget of Atlantic City. Landry's intends to spend $150 million to convert the Trump Marina into a luxury resort.

The Atlantic City Golden Nugget will feature the same Landry's owned restaurants that are in the Las Vegas Golden Nugget. These include the Chart House, Vic and Anthony's steakhouse, Red Sushi, Lillie's Asian Cuisine and Noodle Bar and the Grotto Italian Ristorante.

The renovated casino property will also feature new bars and lounges, upscale pools and hot tubs, and a lavish spa. They also plan update the rooms and suites.

Some years ago Coastal Marina, LLC almost bought the Trump Marina. They were going to turn it into a Margaritaville. Now it will be a Golden Nugget.

There was once before a Golden Nugget casino in Atlantic City, owned by Steve Wynn. It is now the Atlantic City Hilton.
