Steve Winwood


Steve Winwood is an English singer-songwriter who writes and performs rock, blues-rock, and jazz. He sings with a tenor voice and plays multiple instruments including the organ, guitar, bass, and other string instruments. Rolling Stone ranked Winwood #33 on its 100 Greatest Singers of All Time list.

In 1986, Steve topped the Billboard Hot 100 list with his song "Higher Love" from his album "Back In the High Life," earning Grammy Awards for Record of the Year and for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.

Other hit Steve Winwood albums include: "About Time," "Ark of a Diver," "Roll with it," and "Keep on Running."

Steve recently released his ninth album which has nine songs on it including: "Fly," "Raging Sea" and "Dirty City," which includes a guest appearance by his friend Eric Clapton. Steve also played at Madison Square Garden with Eric Clapton.

Steve Winwood spends a good bit of time on tour and his tour stops include Atlantic City.
