Brian Wilson

The Beach Boys
Brian Wilson is a musician and singer best known as the leader and chief songwriter of the American rock and roll band The Beach Boys. Within the band, Wilson played bass and keyboards, also providing part-time lead vocals.
Wilson was the primary songwriter for the Beach Boys, also functioning as the band's main producer, composer, and arranger. In 1988, Wilson and his bandmates were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which refers to Wilson on its website as "One of the few undisputed geniuses in popular music."
In 2006, the major surviving Beach Boys (Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, and David Marks) reunited for a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the album "Pet Sounds" and the double-platinum certification of their greatest hits compilation, "Sounds of Summer: The Very Best of the Beach Boys," and again went on tour.
While Brian Wilson still plays and tours with the reunited Beach Boys he also pursues his own solo career. He often performs in Atlantic City.
