
Ron White is a stand-up comedian from Finch, Texas.
Comedian Ron "Tater Salad" White is best known as the cigar smoking, scotch drinking funnyman from the "Blue Collar Comedy" tour. From January 2000 through March 2003, Ron performed with Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engval and Larry the Cable Guy in the highly acclaimed "Blue Collar Comedy Tour," a show that played to sold out audiences in over 90 cities.
He established himself as a star in his own right, with his comedy CDs and DVDs, and having had two top-rated, one-hour specials on Comedy Central. He also published a book "I Had the Right to Remain Silent... But I Didn't Have the Ability," that made the New York Times best seller list.
He got his nickname "Tater Salad" from one of his comedy CD and DVDs, "They Call Me "Tater Salad." Another of Ron's comedy DVDs, "Behavioral Problems," is very popular.
Ron often takes his stand-up comedian talents on the casino tour circuit, including performing in Atlantic City.
