Rick Springfield is an Australian-American singer, songwriter, musician and actor. He is most famous for his hit single "Jessie's Girl."

Rick was also a soap opera star, where he played the role of Dr. Noah Drake, on the TV show General Hospital.

Outside of television Springfield made one full length feature film, Hard to Hold. He also acted on Broadway. In 1995, he was a member of the cast of the musical Smokey Joe's Cafe.

In his career he has sold over 19 million records which include 17 top 40 hits. These include "Jessie's Girl," "Shock/Denial/Anger/Acceptance," "Working Class Dog," " Tao," and his latest album released in 2008, "Venus In Overdrive."

Springfield maintains an active tour schedule, and he often performs in Atlantic City.
