Jordin Sparks is an R&B and pop singer from Arizona. She was the winner of the sixth season of the Fox reality television series "American Idol." At the age of only 17, she was the youngest winner ever.

Her self titled album "Jordin Sparks" was released soon after, and quickly went platinum, selling over 1.5 million copies. She won an American Music Award in 2008 and was nominated for a Grammy in 2009 based on her album.

For the last 2 years Jordin has been on a series of tours that included performing with Alecia Keys in the U.S. and in New Zealand, and providing the opening act on the Jonas Brothers North American tour.

Now at the age of 19, Jordin Sparks is releasing her second album "Battlefield." She says she is ready for follow up musical combat, showcasing a new look and a more confident maturity. She also feels her voice is stronger, having gained strength from touring.

Jordin loves to perform and says "That to sing for my job is the best thing in the world." Soon Jordin will be back on tour, and her tour stops include Atlantic City.
