Rascal Flatts is a country music band from Columbus, Ohio. It is a three member band consisting of: Joe Don Rooney - lead guitar, Gary LeVox - lead vocals and Jay DeMarcus - bass guitar, keyboard and piano.

The band plays a soft rock and middle-of-the-road R& B, infused with a bit of blue-grass.

In early 2000, the group made its debut with the single "Prayin' for Daylight", a song that got the band signed by Disney's Lyric Street Records. Since then they have sold 20 million albums, 25 million digital downloads and earned 13 #1 singles.

They have released seven albums, all of which have been certified platinum: These being "Rascal Flatts," "Melt," "Feels Like Today," "Me and My Gang," "Still Feels Good," "Greatest Hits Volume 1" and "Unstoppable."

The group has won nearly 40 awards from the ACM, CMA, AMA and People's Choice, among others, and they have received that ultimate honor for those who have impacted the culture — a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Joe Don says "There's never been a method to our madness. We just cut the best songs we can, and through the years we get better at what we do."

Rascal Flatts have set more venue attendance records than any country act en route to ticket sales of six million and counting. They often perform in Atlantic City.
