Elaine Paige is a singer and actress from England, known for the power and great range of her voice.

She is best known for her award winning performance as Eva Peron in Evita. She also starred in the original production of Cats and the theater productions of Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar and Grease. In 1995, Paige was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) by Queen Elizabeth for her contributions to musical theater.

Paige made her Broadway debut in Sunset Boulevard in 1996, playing the lead role of Norma Desmond, to critical acclaim. She appeared in The King and I from 2000 to 2001. She has also worked in film, television and radio.

Elaine has recorded 20 solo albums, 8 of which were certified gold and 4 platinum. Her first studio album, issued in in 1978, was entitled "Sitting Pretty." In 1985, Paige recorded "I Know Him So Well" with Barbara Dickson from the musical Chess, which remains the largest-selling record by a female duo. In 2006 she released an album of songs from the stage entitled "Essential Musicals."

She has toured throughout Europe, China, Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Her tour stops include Atlantic City.
