Marie Osmond is an actress, singer and member of the show business family; The Osmonds. Although she was never part of her family's singing group, she began to make a name for herself when at 13 years of age her country-pop recording, “Paper Roses,” went to #1 on the charts, marking it the first time in country music history that a female artist debuted with a #1 record.
As a child and a teenager, Marie Osmond endeared herself to an entire generation. That bond with her audience not only continued, but grew stronger through the years as Marie’s career blossomed into hit records, network television shows, Broadway musicals, movies of the week, world-wide concert tours, a top-ten New York Times best-selling book author, television commercials, lecture tours and an extremely successful Marie Osmond Collector Dolls business.
With all of her successes over 40 years in the entertainment industry, Marie’s legion of fans now spans generations.
"The Donny & Marie Show," which runs at the Flamingo Showroom, has been one of the most popular shows in Las Vegas. During the summer of 2008, Marie took a break from Las Vegas, to perform at The Trump Marina casino in Atlantic City.

The Osmond Family
The Osmond family music group has had a long and varied career that took them from singing barbershop music as children, to achieving success as teen-music idols and to producing a hit television show. With their clean-cut image, their talent, and their energetic pop-rock sound, the Osmonds' realized extreme popularity in the early 1970's.
The group originally consisted of brothers Alan Osmond, Wayne Osmond, Merrill Osmond, and Jay Osmond. They were later joined by younger siblings Donny Osmond, Marie Osmond, and Jimmy Osmond.
Although Merrill was the lead singer and voice of the Osmonds, Donny and Marie eventually emerged to have the most successful solo careers.
2008 was a milestone year for the entire Osmond family, particularly Marie’s brothers: Alan, Wayne, Merrill and Jay (The Osmond Brothers) as it marked their 50th Anniversary as performers. To commemorate it, the family gathered for a concert which was video taped and broadcast nationally on PBS as a Pledge Drive Special. Following the concert, the seven performing Osmonds went on a month-long tour through the UK, Australia and Asia. It was the first time in 27 years all performing Osmonds were on one stage, and also marked the final world tour for the Osmond family as an entire group. An expanded version of the PBS Anniversary Concert is now available on DVD.
