Chrisette Michele is an R&B soul singer and songwriter from New York.

Chrisette's debut album, "I Am" which was released in 2007, included the hit single "Be OK" which won a Grammy Award. The lead single of this same album, "If I Have My Way" also placed high on the charts.

Michele has a beautiful, effortless, and much-admired singing voice. She started singing in church choirs when she was only four years old, and continued developing her singing talents, earning a college degree in Vocal Performance. She cites Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra as singers that have influenced her style.

Michele's second album, "Epiphany," was released in May of 2009, and it quickly went to number one on the Billboard 200, selling 83,000 copies in its opening week.

Chrisette Michele is now showing off her singing talents at various venues around the country, including Atlantic City.
