Katharine McPhee is a singer, songwriter, actress and model. She was runner-up on the fifth season of the Fox reality show American Idol in 2006.

Most American Idol fans most remember her impressive rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" during the American Idol competition. This single, when released on RCA Records, peaked at #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and stayed on the charts for 58 weeks.

McPhee released her self titled first album "Katherine McPhee" in 2007. It quickly went to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Katherine's latest album "Unbroken" was released in 2009.

"Unbroken," includes songs that Katherine wrote herself and others that she co-wrote, and that show other sides of McPhee, previously untapped. But they all are sung with her beautiful, lush, singing voice.

McPhee's acting carrer went into high gear in 2012, as she became a star in the TV series "Smash."

Hopefully she will again take her multi-talents on tour, and include Atlantic City in her schedule.
