Joel McHale is a comedian, actor and television personality from Washington. However he has an Irish and Nordic ansestry.

Joel completed the Actor’s Training Masters Program at The University of Washington where he honed his comedian and acting crafts. Since 2004 he has been the host of The Soup, a weekly comedy series that airs on the E! TV Channel. On the show, he takes the audience through the odd and ridiculous events of that happened during the week that made the news.

His live stand up comedy routines are similar, which feature ridicules of pop culture and current events, with a heavy dose of political satire, to the delight of his audiences.

McHale can often be seen on his guest appearances on other TV Shows. These include: The Adam Corolla Show, Mickey and Amelia, the Opie and Anthony Show, Last Comic Standing and Loveline. McHale also stars as Jeff Winger in NBC's TV show, Community.

Joel maintains a busy tour schedule as he entertains fans around the country with his stand-up comedy. He often performs in Atlantic City.
