Patti Lupone is a singer and actress perhaps best known for her Tony Award-winning performances as "Eva Perón" in the musical "Evita," and as "Mama Rose" in the musical "Gypsy."

Possessed of a powerful voice and an intense performing style, she also acted in numerous straight plays, in films, and on television; created nightclub acts and launched concert tours.

Her recent New York stage appearances include performances as "La Mome Pistache" in the "Encores!" production of Cole Porter’s musical "Can-Can" at New York’s City Center.

LuPone performs regularly across the country in her solo shows "Matters of the Heart," "Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda" and "The Lady With the Torch" which sold out at Carnegie Hall. She also often performs in Atlantic City.
