Jo Koy is a Filipino-American stand-up comedian, and actor from Tokoma, Washington. His real name is Joseph Herbert.

He got his start playing in Las Vegas Coffee Houses. He then captured a regular spot on the show Catch a Rising Star at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.

On stage, Koy mixes a lively physical presence with energetic, sharp observational humor, and inspirational-family-based laughs. His unique stand up comedy performances are a big hit with fans of all ages and racial backgrounds.

Koy's first television appearance was on BET's Comic View. Koy has been on two seasons of Comic View and Showtime at the Apollo. He is a regular guest on Chelsea Lately.

Jo Koy also tours the college circuit nationwide and performs in comedy clubs both in the US and internationally. He also often plays on the casino tour circuit. His tour stops include Atlantic City.
