Kenny G, is a alto jazz saxophonist from Washington. He is one of the most prominent instrumental musicians of the modern era, having sold more than 75 million albums.

Kenny started playing the Saxophone at age 10. He played professionally in an orchestra at 17, while still in high school. He continued to play professionally while attending college at the University of Washington.

His solo career started in 1982.
He had early hits with his "G Force" and "Gravity," studio albums, which both achieved platinum status. His later album, "Breathless," became the number one best selling instrumental album ever, with over 15 million copies sold.

He has played his saxophone on numerous other artists albums, including Andrea Bocelli, Whitney Houston, Peabo Bryson, Toni Braxton, Natalie Cole and Steve Miller.

Kenny G plays the Selmer Mark VI Soprano, Alto and Tenor Saxophones. He has created his own line of saxophones called "Kenny G Saxophones". When not playing the saxophone, you can usually find Kenny on the golf course, where he maintains a near zero handicap.
