Journey is a rock band from San Francisco.

Formed in the mid-1970's by ex-Santana guitarist Neal Schon, Journey released three moderately successful jazz-influenced rock albums before hiring vocalist Steve Perry in 1977. That personnel change resulted in a musical shift towards a more pop-oriented style, resulting in their album "Infinity," and the hit songs "Lights" and "Wheel In The Sky." Journey went on to become one of the most successful recording and touring acts in the U.S! "Evolution" and "Departure" were instant classics, each going Platinum with hits like "Lovin," "Touchin," "Squeezin" and "Any Way You Want It."

Jonathan Cain later replaced Gregg Rolie on the keyboard. Following this change, the group recorded its classic "Escape" album, which has sold over 9 million copies. During the 80's Journey released the albums "Frontiers," "Raised On Radio" and the best-selling "Greatest Hits." 1996 saw a reunion of the "Escape" lineup and the Grammy-nominated "Trial By Fire."

On December 5, 2007, Arnel Pineda
became the lead singer of Journey.
He states that joining the legendary band is a dream come true for him. He states, "It's so exciting to sing with one of the best bands in the world." Arnel hails from Quezon City in the Philippines.
