Don Henley

Don Henley is a rock singer, songwriter and drummer, best known as a founding member of the Eagles. The Eagles disbanded in 1980.

Henley went on to have a successful seven-time Grammy Award-winning solo career. His solo hits include "The Boys of Summer," "Dirty Laundry," and "The End of the Innocence."

The Eagles subsequently reunited in 1994. Henley continues to tour and record with The Eagles, with their latest album, "Long Road Out of Eden" which was released in 2007. However, he still pursues his solo career.

Henley's most recent recording appearances include a duet with Kenny Rogers on Rogers' 2006 release "Water & Bridges." The duet is entitled "Calling Me." Henley also recorded another duet on Reba McEntire's 2007 album, entitled "Reba: Duets," performing "Break Each Other's Hearts Again."

In live shows, Henley plays drums and sings simultaneously on certain Eagles songs; on his solo songs he either plays electric guitar and sings, or just sings.
