Chelsea Handler is a comedian, actress, writer and author from New Jersey.

As one of the nation's fastest-rising female stand-up comedians, Handler has performed all over the country. Her comedy can also be seen on the VH1, Comedy Central, and HBO TV channels.

Handler is the television host of her own late night talk show "Chelsea Lately," which airs on the E! network. "Chelsea Lately" was first broadcast in July of 2007 and quickly became a hit with Chelsea Handler's trademark blend of sarcasm and commentary on everything from politics to celebrity culture.

Viewers especially like to watch her skewer visiting celebrities, which she does with regularity.

Chelsea's first book, entitled "My Horizontal Life: A collection of One Night Stands," was sold in 20 countries. Her follow up book, entitled "Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea," became number one on The New York Times bestseller list.

Chelsea often takes to the tour trail, with one of her stops being Atlantic City.
