Stefani Germanotta, better known by her stage name "Lady GaGa," is a theatrical singer, songwriter and recording artist. Born in 1986, she began singing and playing the piano at a young age, and by 19 she was performing in the rock music scene of New York City's Lower East Side.

In 2008, she released her first album "The Fame" which included the chart topping smash hit "Just Dance," and established herself as an upcoming superstar. Her follow-up single, "Poker Face," was an even greater success, topping singles charts in the U.S., Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Other hit songs By Lady GaGa include "Paparazzi," "Brown Eyes," "EhEh," "Boys Boys Boys" and "LoveGame."

Time Magazine recently recognized Lady Gaga's outstanding popularity and talent by including her in their list of the 100 most influential people in the World, and placing her on the magazine's cover of their May 10, 2010 issue. In the same magazine, Cindy Lauper says that Lady Gaga is not just a pop act, but a performance artist, and in fact is
art herself.

Lady GaGa is big on fashion, which she claims is an essential component to her songwriting and performances. In her real life, she says she is an extreme dresser. In her shows, her outfits have included a Vulcan headdress, mirrored bras, rubber jumpsuits, studded undies and most recently a Monster Ball.

Her Monster Ball tour featured her album "The Fame Monster." Her tour stops included Atlantic City. She will be back.

In May of 2011 Lady Gaga released her newest album "Born This Way."
