
Foreigner is a British-American rock band formed in New York City in 1976.
The band was formed by veteran musicians Mick Jones and ex-King Crimson member Ian McDonald, along with then-unknown vocalist Lou Gramm.
Universally recognized as one of the most popular rock bands in the world, Foreigner has sold more than 65 million albums. Their concert tours are sold out wherever they go.
The group's hits include "Cold as Ice," "Hot Blooded," "Urgent," "Juke Box Hero," "Waiting For A Girl Like You," and "I Want To Know What Love Is."
In 2008 the band released a greatest hits anthology , titled "No End in Sight: The Very Best of Foreigner." The anthology includes all of their greatest hits plus some new live recordings.
Foreigner maintains a busy tour schedule. Present members of the band are Mick Jones, Kelly Hansen, Tom Gimbel, Jeff Pilson and Michael Bluestein. Their tour stops include Atlantic City.
