Fleetwood Mac is an British–American rock band formed in London in 1967.

The band had its most success from 1975 to 1987, after guitarist Lindsey Buckingham and vocalist Stevie Nicks joined the band and gave it more of a pop flavor. In 1975, they released the album Fleetwood Mac. The album was a huge hit, reaching #1 in the US and selling over 5 million copies. Shortly after, Fleetwood Mac released their most successful album, "Rumors." The album peaked at the top of both the United States Billboard 200 and the British Charts. It contained the hit singles "Go Your Own Way", "Don't Stop", "Dreams", and "You Make Loving Fun." "Rumors' won a Grammy award, and sold over 40 million copies worldwide.

In 1987 Fleetwood Mac released their album "Tango In the Night," which went triple platinum. Following 1987 the band had on and off again success with some band members retiring or going there own way. However in 1997 they released the live album "The Dance," that made it to the top of the US charts and sold 5 million copies.

Stevie Nicks began her own solo career in 1981, with the album "Bella Donna," which hit number 1 on the billboard 200 chart and sold over 5 million copies. After the release of the "Bella Donna" album, Rolling Stone magazine called her "The Reigning Queen of Rock and Roll". She went on to record five more solo studio albums. These included "The Other Side of the Mirror," which reached platinum status.

In 2010, the legendary supergroup "Fleetwood Mac" got back together again, and embarked on a revival concert tour. They claim the tours name, "Unleashed," describes how they all feel when they get back on stage together. The tour includes many of the Macs’ greatest hits from over the years. Fleetwood Mac's tour schedule includes appearances in Atlantic City.
