Jackie Evancho is a young female singer from Pittsburgh PA, who was born in 2000.

She attracted some interest entering talent contests and through amateur videos posted on YouTube. Her popularity zoomed in 2011 after she placed second in the fifth season of America's Got Talent.

Her debut album "O Holy Night EP" was a major hit. On the basis of her initial Sony album "Dream With Me," Billboard ranked her the top classical Albums Artist of 2011.

The amazing thing is that this young girl sings like a grown woman. And she sings things you would more expect from a
mature classical artist. On her first on-air performance she sung Puccini's "O Mio Babbino Caro." But this is not Maria Callas, this little Jackie Evancho. The lush sounds coming from Jackie are extraordinary for someone of her age.

In November of 2011, she released her Christmas album, "Heavenly Christmas." Also in November of 2011, she became the youngest person ever to give a solo concert at Lincoln Center in New York City.

In December of 2011, she performed in Atlantic City. She will be back.
