
Daughtry is a rock band from North Carolina, formed in 2006 and fronted by former American Idol finalist Chris Daughtry.
The bands debut album "Daughtry," was released in 2006. The disc reached number one for two non-consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200, out-sold Idol winner Taylor Hicks' debut album, and was named the number one selling album of 2007 by Billboard. It sold more than six million copies.
Hit singles from the "Daughtry" album include: "It's Not Over," "Home," "What I Want," and "Over You." The bands second album "Leave This Town" was released in 2009.
Present members of the band are: Chris Daughtry - vocals and guitar, Josh Steely - lead guitar, Brian Craddock - rhythm guitar, Josh Paul - bass guitar, and Joey Barnes - drums and percussion.
Since 2007, the band has been touring non-stop. They have performed across the U.S. and Canada, the UK, Germany, and Singapore. Their tour stops include Atlantic City.
