Dane Cook is a popular stand-up comedian and film actor.

Cook's big comedy break came in 1998 when he appeared on Comedy Central's Premium Blend. Since then he has been a popular regular performer on Comedy Central. Last year, Cook hosted the season premiere of Saturday Night Live, helping the program earn the highest non-sports ratings of any network that year.

His album release, "Retaliation," debuted in the Top Ten of the Billboard 200; the double-disc album went gold six days later and reached platinum status within six months, making Cook the highest-charting comedian since Steve Martin.
