Margaret Cho is a Korean American comedian, actress and author from San Francisco. She is best known for her stand-up routines, in which she critically comments on social and political problems, especially those pertaining to race, sexuality, and sex.
In 1994, Margaret starred in a short-lived ABC sitcom called All-American Girl. She later chronicled her exacerbating experience on the sitcom in an off Broadway one-woman show called I’m The One That I Want. The show was extremely well received, toured the U.S, and was made into a concert film and a best-selling book of the same name.
In 2008, thirteen years after her catastrophic foray into television, Margaret returned to TV in the VH1 series, "The Cho Show." Margaret is also starring in the comedy drama series, "Drop Dead Diva," on Lifetime TV.
Now Margaret is back on the road with a national stand-up tour, Cho Dependent. Margaret’s tour features new stand-up comedy routines and a few live performances of songs from her new comedy music album, "Cho Dependent." Her tour stops include Atlantic City.
