Chris Botti is a professional trumpeter and composer from Oregon.

Early in his career Botti toured with Both Frank Sinatra and Buddy Rich. Throughout the 90s he toured and recorded with Paul Simon. Over the years he has also performed and recorded with Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole, Bette Midler , Rager Daultry, Joni Mitchell, Andrea Bocelli and numerous other other prominent artists.

Botti is a gifted instrumentalist, a talented composer, and a charismatic performer. He combines a soulful ambience with naturally flowing improvisation. Since his first solo album in 1995, he has created a series of recordings which have made him one of the world’s top-selling instrumental artists. His best-selling albums include "When I Fall In Love," "To Love Again: The Duets," and "Chris Botti Live with Orchestra & Special Guests,"

His latest album, "Chris Botti In Boston," features Botti along with special guests and his core band, which includes: Billy Childs (piano), Billy Kilson (drums), Mark Whitfield (guitar), and Robert Hurst (bass). Among the numbers they play are: "Ave Maria," "When I Fall In Love," "Seven Days," "Emmanuel," "I’ve Got You Under My Skin," "Cinema Paradiso," "Broken Vow," "Flamenco Sketches," "Glad To Be Unhappy," "Hallelujah," "Smile," "If I Ever Lose My Faith In You," and "Time To Say Goodbye."
