Chris Botti is a professional trumpeter and composer from Oregon.

Early in his career Botti toured with Both Frank Sinatra and Buddy Rich. Throughout the 90s he toured and recorded with Paul Simon. Over the years he has also performed and recorded with Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole, Bette Midler , Rager Daultry, Joni Mitchell, Andrea Bocelli and numerous other other prominent artists.

Botti is a gifted instrumentalist, a talented composer, and a charismatic performer. He combines a soulful ambience with naturally flowing improvisation. Since his first solo album in 1995, he has created a series of recordings which have made him one of the world’s top-selling instrumental artists. His latest album, "Chris Botti In Boston," features Botti along with special guests and his core band, which includes: Billy Childs (piano), Billy Kilson (drums), Mark Whitfield (guitar), and Robert Hurst (bass).
