
James Blunt, is an English singer-songwriter and musician. Blunt, who's real name is "Blount," served 6 years as an officer in the British Army. He left the Army in 2002 to pursue his musical career.
James came to the forefront in 2006 with his debut album, "Back to Bedlam" which included the hit singles "You're Beautiful" and "Goodbye My Lover." His second album, 2007’s “All the Lost Souls,” debuted at No. 1 in 10 countries, selling nearly 5 million copies globally and featuring such hits as “1973,” ”Same Mistake” and “Carry You Home.”
His music style can be described as a mix of acoustic-tinged pop, rock and folk. His third studio album titled "Some Kind of Trouble," was released on November 8, 2010. The album debuted at #4 in the UK with over 100,000 copies sold in the first week and then over 1 million copies worldwide.
Blunt says, the ultimate joy comes from playing his songs live, and sharing them with an audience. Thus he loves to tour. His tour stops include Atlantic City.
