Beyonce' Knowles, known simply as Beyonce' is a singer songwriter, actress and model. Beyonce' rose to fame in the late 1990's as the lead singer of the R&B girl group "Destiny's Child."

Beyonce' went on to pursue a solo career. In 2003, her first album "Dangerously in Love" was a big hit. She followed these up with the hits "Crazy in Love," "Baby Boy," and "Naughty Girl," which earned Beyonce' five Grammy Awards in the year 2004.

In 2008 she issued the album titled
"I Am...Sasha Fierce" which quickly hit # 1 on the charts around the world. Beyonce' says that Sasha Fierce reflects the more sensual, more aggressive and more outspoken Beyonce', which is what she becomes when she works or is on stage.

In 2009, Beyonce' received 10 Grammy Nominations for her singing and her songs. with "I Am...Sasha Fierce" being nominated for Album of the Year, "Single Ladies( Put a Ring On it)" being nominated for Song of the Year and her "Halo" being nominated for Record of the Year.

When Beyonce' is not recording, she performs at venues around the country and she often visits Atlantic City.
