Tony Bennett is a singer of popular music, standards and jazz.

In the early 1950's, Tony scored a series of major hits that made him one of the most popular recording artists of the time. These included: "Because of You," "Rags to Riches" and "Strangers in Paradise."

In the early 1960's, his album "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" went gold and propelled him to stardom. Through the 1970's, Bennett was a major attraction, as he worked regularly in concert halls around the world.

Tony continued to sing and record, releasing his album "The Art of Excellence" in 1986, that placed high on the pop charts. He followed with the successful albums "Perfectly Frank" and "Steppen' Out" in the 1990's.

It doesn't seem like Tony is ever going to quit. He remains a popular and critically praised recording artist and concert performer even now in this new century!
