You don't have to have a bike; you can
rent one. Bikes are available for rent near both
the Resorts and Tropicana casinos; follow the signs.
Bike rentals at both the Resorts and Tropicana locations are available from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM, from May 15 to September 15, and from 7:30 AM to 12 Noon from September 16 to May 14. The boardwalk is more than 4 miles long. It goes to the Absecon Inlet at the north end, and all the way in the southerly direction into the adjacent city of Ventnor. The boards are laid out diagonally across the boardwalk so as to provide a smooth ride for rolling chairs. This also provides a smooth ride for bicycles, and pedaling is easy.
