A fun thing to do in Atlantic City is to ride a bicycle on the boardwalk.
Bike riding is permitted on the boardwalk from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM from May 15 to September 30. From October 1 to May 14, bike riding is permitted from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
You don't have to have a bike; you can rent one. Bikes are available for rent near both the Resorts and Tropicana casinos: follow the signs.

This is where you pick up the bikes at Resorts. The cost is $8 for the first hour and $1 for each additional 15 minutes.

The Atlantic City boardwalk is a fun place to ride a bicycle.

You can also rent a bicycles near the Tropicana. Note the Bike Rental sign by the green door.

The boardwalk is more than 4 miles long. It goes to the Absecon Inlet at the north end, and all the way in the southerly direction into the adjacent city of Longport. The boards are laid out diagonally across the boardwalk so as to provide a smooth ride for rolling chairs. This also provides a smooth ride for bicycles, and pedaling is easy.

Did we mention that the views are spectacular?
